Does save, or flash make the changes to evo all from updater

Question

I made the changes for my 2016 F-250. Enabled C1 and D1. I made sure the diesel options were set as I wanted. I pressed save, and they are saved.  However when I press flash, it doesn’t do anything.  I’m not sure if it’s flashed or, if it’s just showing the saved options on the screen?  I bought the unit thinking they were already enabled and it programmed, but didn’t start my truck.  Now I see they weren’t, so I want to make they are flashed and not just showing as a saved option?

Saving options does not require a flash. After the options are saved you can disconnect the module.
