FAQ - SKREEM Service Bulletin 08-003-13

+1 vote

On January 15, 2013, Daimler/Chrysler Corporation released a Service Bulletin for some SKREEM/WCM modules. The subject of the bulletin, "The Radios Clock Loses Time".

Problem:

Customer may notice that the clock, over time, loses about a minute per month and needs readjustment

Affected Models: Jeep Wrangler (2009-2012), Jeep Liberty (2009-2012), Dogde Nitro (2009-2011)

Solution:

The Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep service bulletin involves the replacement of the Wireless Control Module (WCM) / Sentry Key Remote Entry Module (SKREEM). After the replacement is done and if the vehicle had an EVO installed, the vehicle may start experiencing theft lights issues (theft light will flash non stop when remote starting).

**Important** Being that the module was replaced with a newer SKREEM / WIN (similar to a 2013 Wrangler), several points will have to be taken into consideration:

If an EVO-CHR was previously installed in the vehicle, it will have to be replaced with an EVO ALL. The EVO-CHR does not cover/support newer SKREEM / WIN modules. Since the replaced module is similar to the 2013 Wrangler, the MUX connection may not be required.

Note: The EVO-CHR is not to be confused with an EVO-CHRT3/4/5 or 6 (these models are actually an EVO-ALL + dedicated T-Harness).
