2005 jeep grand Cherokee wiring problem

I made the extra connections as per 28831 - F I have an evo all with hardware 6 and newest firmware. I also have the 642 remotes. Everything works except starting the vehicle. The evo bypasses the built in immobilizer and the LEDs flash like it's trying to start.

I also tried making the connection as per 28831 - c but didn't help. I only changed the green to purple and reconnected the yellow red. But left the the 2 whites hooked up because I didn't want to start cutting everything up if that makes a difference.

Not sure what two white wires you hooked up bit not seeing them on install sheet. Naming pin numbers would be easier. You installed you hood pin? You are not in valet mode? Optioned correctly?
I figured out what it was. In the diagram the clip is shown in what looks like the front view but in small letters it says it's the reverse so I wired it up in reverse. Using a multimeter I discovered what I thought was the ground carrying 12v. After reversing the wire connections it worked flawlessly. The white wires were white/blue and white/red.
I've been trying for a month to get this system working on my 05 and havent had any luck. I followed a how to video on YouTube that showed just 4 wire connects needing spliced and still nothing
I'm having the same issue. It is running through the motions as if it wants to start but doesn't engage the starter. I also followed the video and have tripple checked my wiring! I have Firmware v4.51_x86_x64. Please let me know if you have found a solution!

Thanks
