Programmig not working stuck at step 9

0 votes
i have double and triple checked my wire connections but when i try to program my THAR-CHR6 and when i get to step 9 the light will not change from Red to blue. I have attempted this multiple times and have followed all the steps so i am lost and really could use some help. Could it be an issue with my unit or is there a trick to this i am missing. I am installing on a 2013 Dodge Journey Push button ignition. *Update* I had intially started i had updated my Evo to the most recent firmware not in beta. I downgraded to 74.22 and was able to get to the next step where the blue light would come on but it would not flash. Flashed it again to a higher FW believe 74.25 but same thing blue light doesn't flash. Otherthing i noticed is on the ODBII port guide says the CAN high wire is brown but there are no brown wires on that harness. The CAN low matches the yellow though.

Checked with a multimeter and not getting any voltage. Only thing i can think is if i am suppose to start vehicle and not just press button. Didn't check voltage with car running.
The yellow wire should have between 10-12V when the ignition is in the ON position. I would verify this wire and connection.
When i check connection it was at wire itself. Pink with white strip on driver sude kick panel.
Check it at the evo, yellow wire (a1) what does it read with the ignition in the ON position?

Also if the wire you are testing shows 0V all the time..you are on the wrong wire.
The Yellow wire at A1 is always at 0 volts. There is only 1 solid yellow wire so positive i am not wrong. Unless there is a setting not set correctly when i connected ot to my computer.
Ok latest update. After digging through wires at drivers side kick panel found there is another pink with white stripe wire. I was able to program the evo and connect it to my Compustar alarm. It now locks and unlocks through alarm. But when i try to use remote start it turns on ignition to run position but does not start. If i open door it turns off the ignition like it is suppose to. Guessing that is a setting in the programming but nit sure which one.
