Headlight Indicator Always On

0 votes
I updated to the 1.23 firmware the other day and since updating to it, I've noticed that my dashboard headlight indicator doesn't turn off.  My headlight light switch does not have an 'auto' position and is turned to the 'off' position, but the dashboard thinks the headlights are on and displays the green 'headlight indicator light'.  I also noticed that the dashboard lights are dimmer, as if they headlights are on.

I checked and even though the headlight indicator and dashboard thinks the headlights are on, they are off at the switch and at the headlight itself.  So the headlights are still controlled by the switch but just the dashboard thinks differently.

Is there anything that can be done to resolve this issue?

Disconnect parking lights, see if problem persists.

Also, you'll want to double check the security led connections. A17 and A18.

I disconnected the parking lights wire (A12) and this resolved my issue with the headlight indicator being on.  I looked into it more and it was actually the parking lights that were always on when A12 was connected.

Since disconnecting it though, the parking lights no longer flash with the EVO-One.  So, for example, if it's remote started, the parking lights aren't on.  When programming it with the valet button, I no longer get the confirmations with the parking lights.  The lights still flash with unlock and lock but that's from the OEM alarm.

Is there a way to get this fixed like it was before the update?
