2015 Tundra with Evo One SOMETIMES cranks without starting

I installed an EVO-ONE on a 2015 Toyota Tundra. 1 out of 5 times when he engages the remote start, the truck will crank for around 8 seconds without starting. The other times it starts perfect. Tach is set to data only, and is not set to crank for 8 seconds. He said also every once in a while the lights on the dash will shut off at night after a few minutes of driving. I used the t harness and as always, i soldered the rest of the connections.

Make sure you have set option D2 in the bypass, NOT 6.2 in the remote starter.

For the lights shutting down I can't see what would cause it except damaged wire or connectors not beeing fully connected.
