2010 Camry 40-bit Dot Key Wiring

Hi. I'm starting an installation on a 2010 Camry with a "Dot" key tomorrow. Wondering if there is any clarification or update on which wiring schematic to use- can I wire through the Can Bus or must I use the RX/TX? If it must be through the RX/TX can the bypass module still be directly wired to things like hood status, tachometer, lock/unlock, etc with that information passed to a remote start module through the D2D link as shown in the G key wiring? I would like to try to wire through the Can Bus first and if that doesn't work hoping I can just disconnect the Can Bus wires and connect the RX/TX and Keysense wires and have it work without having to reconnect all other wires direct to the remote starter.

Yes you can hook up can high and can low to the obd connector. It is not shown in the guide because it has not been 100% on all these "older" models.

Don't forget to connect the small yellow wire to ignition.

For programming follow guide, when the light stop flashing red, turn ignition on and wait for blue light to flash.

Thank you. In the wirecolor.com wire guide it says to cut the yellow IMI wire behind the glove box. Do I still need to do this if I am connecting to the Can Bus?

Just hook up Can-Hi and Can-lo like in the G-Key installation guide. Use the 2009 plan for doing the transponder bypass.

You will program the unit following the 2009 installation guide. Make sure you connect the yellow wire of the 20-pin to ignition and do what Mathieu said at the end of the programming. For programming follow guide, when the light stop flashing red, turn ignition on and wait for blue light to flash.

"Use the 2009 plan for doing the transponder bypass"- are you referring to wiring into the RX/TX and keysense? Or do you just mean use the 2009 plan to program the unit? I'm not clear if I hook up the Can-Hi and Can-lo if I will still need to hook up the RX/TX and keysense.

you need to hook up rx, tx, keysense, can high, can low, ignition and Ground when running.
I installed the evo-all as instructed and can't get it working fully. When I press the remote start on the viper 4205v the ignition turns on but the car does not crank. The red light comes on on the Evo-all when the remote start turns the car's ignition on, but the yellow light does not come on. The yellow lights on the Evo-all does turn on when I turn on the car's ignition with the key. I've confirmed the evo-all ignition (yellow) wire does have 12v when the remote start turns the ignition on- but still no yellow light on the evo-all. Ideas?
When remote starting the yellow light will not light up on ignition since the module is busy interfacing with the immobiliser, it will light up couple second after car is running. Verify your start connection. Does the car remote start with a key in the ignition barrel ?
The car does not crank with a key in the ignition barrel either. This car requires 2 starter wires and the viper module only has 1 so I had to add in a relay. I've triple checked the wiring and everything appears to be correct. On the viper shutdown diagnostics its giving me 3 flashes which means no tach/low battery, however even with the tach menu option set to off the car doesn't crank.
