2007 dodge caliber base (no factory key fob) can I still program a bypass

+1 vote
Its a base, It never had a factory keyless entry, so when I would go to first install and get to the press the lock button part, I could not finish it. Will it still work with an aftermarket remote start system like a crimestopper or do I need to be able to hit the lock button to finish programing? And if so what bypass would I need?

Hi Ryan,

At the end of the programming where it says to hit lock on the factory remote, it also say  Or press and release the programming button on the EVO once. Vehicles with the oem fob have to hit the lock button, vehicles without the pem fob have to press the programming button on the EVO.
