Battery replacement on FTX-64-2W

Question

How do you replace the battery on the FTX-64-2W remote? I, obviously, remove the screws and detach the metal piece but once that is done, pulling apart the remote in to two pieces seems like it requires too much force. Could not find procedure in the manual. Thank you.

There is no procedure on it. You just have to get something to pry it open like a small screwdriver. You are correct that it's not easy, but you can do it. There's no easy way so if you have to force it open just do it!
