2017 Ram 1500 diode install

Im getting ready to install my EVO-CHRT6 in my 2017 Ram 1500 and im confused if i need to install a diode if so where does it go i see wherethe resistor goes but not the diode. Truck is a 5.7l hemi

If you are using the evo in "standalone" mode, there is no need for a diode, that was a carryover from the non-standalone installation guide, please disregard.
