12 VDC (-)????

0 votes
Odd question...

I was gathering everything and making my list for the install.  Everything seems pretty simple, BUT I have noticed that there is NO noted 12 vdc (-) reference for the EVOALL.  This is my first Fortin install so i just wanted to confirm this? In my 30+ years in low voltage work, I do not think I have come accrossed this.

Hello,

Must be a typo, 12v is +, ground is -.

What is the guide number (found on page 1)? I will send it in for review by our graphics dept.

Best regards

Not exact sure what your responce means.  Guide # 78621

What I am asking is why doesn' t the EVOALL have a GROUND 12VDC (-) ? If it does, where is it located? A1-A20 has nothing marked as GROUND. D1-D6 are obviously DATA. C1-C5 are the CAN BUS.

The evo-all will get power and ground through the data link (connector B), which will come from the power and ground connected to the remote starter module, hopefully this helps.

Thank you
