Ax-one / Evo One Tilt Sensor ?

0 votes
I have the Ax-One system and I was wondering if it is possible to connect a tilt sensor ? For example the Directed Electronics 507m tilt sensor. I see that you guys produce one called the sensimiter but I cannot find any info on it so I was hoping I could purchase an aftermarket one and add it to my Ax-One unit.

The sensimeter is a tilt and shock sensor which connects through the datalink with the evo-one. This product is mostly sold locally.

The DEI tilt sensor you can easily just use the external input; pink/black wire. Using the 3-pin shock sensor input should also work, just make sure the 3-pin connector is sorted out (from left to right) as ground-trigger-12V

This is wrong... sensimeter is not functional with the EVO-ONE. Apologies for the misinformation.

I cant find the sensimeter anywhere anyways, Ill try installing another model and see if I can get it to work. I currently have the fortin shock sensor plugged into the 3 pin shock sensor input on the evo one, could I tap those wires with a tilt sensor so that it is shared with both the shock sensor and tilt sensor ?

If I use the pink / black input would I need to enable anything in the flashlink settings ? On the evo one, on the quick installation guide / alarm diagnostics settings the tilt sensor is referred to as zone 8. Which method of connecting would be best to keep it this way for alarm diagnostics purposes (distinguishing between shock sensor or tilt sensor triggering the alarm).
Sure you can easily tap into your shock sensor wire with the harness from your tilt sensor. Always remember the trigger is the middle pin.
This is another good question that i also have. does anyone have an answer?
