Ford Mondeo 2015 Push-to-Start (Europe).

All wiring colors are the same as in the guide.

FORTIN connected as a Key bypass only (+12, GND, IGN, CAN1, CAN2, GWR to control).

Firmware 71.28

Hardware v.6

During programming I have five red flashes instead of ten and unit is not programmed.

Please advise. Thanks.

Double and triple check all 4 Can-Bus connections. You should also do a master reset to the unit, the reset procedure can be found here : http://fortin.ca/en/qa/50193/faq-how-do-i-reset-my-evo-all

Heres some notes...:

  • We do not have a 5 flash scenario. It will either flash or not flash red, then it will flash blue.
  • You cannot use the module as a bypass only for this particular vehicle. When the evo is installed, it acts as a factory remote starter. It must be installed and used as per installation guide. You will notice that even in the installation guide, there are almost NO external remote starter connections needed (except for 12v, gnd, ignition and GWR).

Some questions for later...:

  • Is the unit being installed with a separate remote starter? if yes, which brand?
  • Does the blue LED flash after the red LED ?
