Remove the purple wire of the EVO and see if the problem persists.

The purple and purple/white are not connected to anything.  The Green and the White are going to the BCM for lock/unlock.
Does it lock the car immediately or is their a delay?

Does it only happen when the vehicle is remote started, or always?

If you start your vehicle normally, then hit the trunk release button on your remote, what happens?
It does it immediatly, no delay. I will check to see if it does it only when remote starter and report back.
No matter how the car is started, even when not running, pressing the trunk button either on the key or inside the car it locks the car, not sure if thats normal.

a few quick tests i should of asked earlier.

  • If you disconnect the Can-Bus connector from the EVO (5 pin white connector). is this "problem" still there?
  • If you disconnect he 20-pin connector is the problem still there? (only the 20 pin)
  • Unfortunately, if you remove the BCM connections, is the problem still there?

The EVO cannot control nor detect trunk release through Can-Bus.

I will have to test and report back.  Nothing in the options that would cause it to do that?
you can always try turning off the the Trunk Release and Trunk trigger options in the EVO. Options 2 and 10.

Would be nice to know what the BLUE LED does also when you test those 3 things mentionned above.
I will try and perform some if not all the tests today. Going to first try and plug my laptop in and see what options are causing this.
I turned off option 2 and 10, saved it and its fine now.  It no longer locks the doors everytime I try to open the trunk.

When I unplugged the EVO ALL power connector and 20-ping white connector, it also did not lock the doors when I poped the trunk which led me to believe its the EVO all and that is when I turned option 2 and 10 off and saved it.

Thank you.
