Evo One, how to decrease crank time

0 votes

First time Fortin user here.  Purchased a pre-programmed  EvoOne and an Omega OL-RF-32-SST from a trusted Fortin distributor. Vehicle info: 2005 Honda CRV, (gas engine, auto trans, keyless entry, no factory alarm).

Clean install which went very smoothly.  Everything functions as it should.  However, when I call for a remote start command, the vehicle will start and run but over crank by a sec or so causing a starter grind.  WITHOUT a Flashlink V4/Manager Software...followed programming procedure OPTION 3 Tachless Sensitivy to decrease crank time using the antenna button and rf remote button method, but can not get a park light confirmation of the changes I made.

My assumption.  IF my distributor enabled Master ON on the module during initial programming, changes made using the said method above does not function correct? and the only way to make that change is through Flashlink/Manager Software?

Hello,

Option 3 only works when you are in tachless mode. So you would need to first set option 20.2, then atferwards you would be able to increase/decrease crank time using option 3.

Best regards.
